  • What is Coaching?
Life coaching involves a partnership between a coach and a client aimed at unlocking the client's full potential, setting goals, creating action plans, and overcoming obstacles, by creating awareness from within the client. It's a journey that assists clients in gaining clarity across various areas of their lives and establishing clear objectives, ultimately helping them bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be in life.
  • How is Coaching different from Therapy?
Life coaching is NOT a substitute for therapy. Life coaching is distinct from therapy, as therapists focus on healing, treating mental health conditions, and helping people work through trauma and other issues from their past, while life coaches concentrate on the future and encourage personal development. Key Differences: Focus: Coaching is future-oriented and goal-driven, while therapy is more focused on the past and present emotional/mental health. Approach: Coaches emphasize action, accountability, and personal development, while therapists use clinical techniques to address underlying issues.
  • Do I need a coach or a therapist?
The choice between a life coach or therapist depends on your specific needs and goals. If you're seeking support for mental health concerns, a therapist may be the better fit. If you're focused on achieving specific personal or professional goals, a life coach could be more beneficial. Many people also choose to work with both a coach and a therapist concurrently, with approval from the therapist.
  • What is my role as your coach?
I am Certified Professional Coach and a Certified Youth, Parent and Family Coach, with experience in family consulting and youth mentoring. Hence, my role shifts with clients based on their needs and circumstances. With parents and young adults, I may temporarily move from the coaching role into a consultant role but only with permission from the client. With youth, I may temporarily move from the coaching role into a mentor or advisor role, but only with permission from youth and parent. If the client does not want a consultant, mentor or advisor and I establish that progress cannot be made without different or additional assistance, then I would refer the client to other professionals.
  • Where do the coaching sessions take place?
I offer different coaching formats depending on the client's preference. While I recommend virtual sessions, via google meet, I also offer text message coaching sessions (popular with the youth) and also in-person for those living in the Lehigh Valley, PA area.
  • How many sessions do I need?
Because our coaching sessions are individualized and tailored to the client's needs, the amount of required sessions may vary and they are ultimately decided upon with an agreement between the coach and the client.
  • How long are the sessions?
A typical session runs 45 minutes
  • How much are the sessions?
I like to keep things simple — life is already complicated enough! I believe that coaching is relational and not transactional. That’s why I offer just one coaching package. This package gives us the time and space to build real momentum together, without having to choose between levels or figure out what’s “enough.” It includes sessions, check-ins, and support in between — because I believe coaching works best when there’s room for connection, consistency, and real-life follow-up. You won’t have to wonder what’s included or worry about extra charges — just one clear package with everything you need to feel supported on your parenting/teen journey. Monthly Coaching Package – $389/month Here’s what’s included: 2 deep-dive sessions (45 minutes each) – for exploring challenges, breakthroughs, and growth. 2 check-in sessions (30 minutes each) – to stay on track, troubleshoot, and keep the momentum going. Unlimited texting and email support between sessions – because important times in life don't just happen on a schedule. I’ll respond within 24 hours (often sooner). Coaching with me isn’t just about one call a week — it’s about having someone in your corner, consistently. This package is a space where you don’t have to navigate life alone — I’m here with you, every step of the way.
  • What do I need to do to make the best out of the coaching process?
Coaching is client led. In order for the process to work, the client needs to be open and honest and coachable. The coach's job is to bring awareness from within the client, but if the client is closed up, the process will take longer where the client might not get the desired result.
  • What happens during the Discovery Call?
During our free Discovery call, I will introduce myself, go briefly over the coaching process, and talk about the logistics of the sessions. I will then spend the remaining time getting to know you, your coaching goals and expectations. After our Discovery call, if you decide that coaching is for you, you can schedule your first Coaching session where we get to assign long term and short term goals.
